At the age of seven I was the proud owner of my very first camera. It was beautiful.
Neon orange plastic, and loaded with a roll of 110 film, courtesy of Ronald McDonald.
I was hooked. And I haven't stopped shooting since.
After high school, I did what most teens do. I went to college.
After college, I did what most college graduates do. I got a job.
After working that job for a couple years, I got bored.
So I did what most others wouldn't do.
I went to work at sea.
In a whirlwind of events, I went from casually applying for a job as an onboard cruise ship photog, to suddenly taking my very first plane ride (alone) to South Hampton England. It all happened so quickly that before I knew it two years had gone by and I had visited 120 cities, 48 countries, and 3 continents - and all for free! I had never travelled outside of North America before that job; so needless to say, I had the time of my life!
In my next life chapter, I decided to stop living "the dream" and join the real world, ( although I still feel Im living "the dream" because I'm still doing what I actually love to do!)
I first moved to Manitoulin Island, where I occasionally started shooting portraits and weddings. A year later, I moved back to Ottawa, where I continue to do what I love.
That is, creating unique images for you and your loved ones of all your special moments.
Although I live in Ottawa, I often travel back to Manitoulin, creating equally in both beautiful places.
I couldnt ask for anything more.
